How did PodChatLive get started?

PodChatLive is the monthly live show for the continuing expert growth and development of Podiatry practitioners and other health professionals that might be interested in the issues discussed. The show is streamed live on Facebook and then is later added to YouTube right after being edited. Every live stream features a different person or collection of guests to go over a different topic every time. A wide range of subjects get discussed. Questions are answered live by the hosts and their guests while in the live stream on Facebook. There’s a podcast of each episode presented on iTunes and Spotify and the other usual podcast sites which get published after editing. They’ve created a significant following that keeps growing. PodChatLive is certainly one of many ways by which podiatry practitioners may get free continuing education hours or credits that are required in many countries to keep their professional registration.

Following the initial impromptu and unplanned stream from the kitchen following the hosts had dinner, the livestream was carried out by the hosts to determine if it might work. While using Zoom web seminar system, Craig Payne was in Melbourne and Ian Griffiths was in England. Craig and Ian planned to see if it may give good results. In this second show, they talked about the concept of supination resistance, touched on 2D Vs 3D gait analysis and were asked who our has to follow accounts were on social media. It was successful and the concept has continued to grow. However, there were some questions that got asked live that they did not know the answers to. This resulted in subsequent episodes having a different guest on each week who could answer the questions that the hosts could not answer. While they were initially done weekly, the episodes are now done on a monthly basis.
